I am a huge video game fan, and one of my favorite games is called Monster Hunter. This personal project is a hypothetical crossover between that game and another one of my favorites: Deep Rock Galactic, which is a game where you play as dwarves mining ore, shooting bugs, and most importantly drinking beer, which is the purpose of these labels.
These two images were created using Illustrator with a painstaking technique of placing individual triangles to create a “low quality” or “low polygon” image. These images were made using pictures of creatures from Monster Hunter. I then went around the image placing the shapes and matching the color to that of the selected area.
